“Morning banana” diet is simple and popular diet, which 3 years ago caused
lack of bananas on the japanese market. Made by Sumiko Vitanabe for her

husband Hitoshi, the diet first conquered the japanese enthusiasts for
losing weight, and then it spread all over the world.
The “rules” of the diet:

1. Eat banana for breakfast. You should start your day by consuming a banana.
If one banana doesn’t make you feel full, you can eat another one,
but you should not eat too much of them. The bananas should be consumed
only fresh.

2. While you eat that banana you should drink one cup of water on room temperature.
The water should not be cold neither hot, it must have the room temperature.
If you want to drink coffee, do it but only 20 minutes after breakfast.

3. Consum normal lunch and dinner. This diet doesn’t limits the inputs of
calories, neither does requires removing of certain products from the nutriotion.
But if you want this diet to be efficient, you have to lower the food that
contains a lot of fat.

4. Deserts are strictly forbidden. You should NOT eat sweet, nor salty deserts
after meals.

5. Only at 3:00 PM, you are allowed to eat some sweets. You can have few
chocolate pieces or one small cookie.

6. The dinner must NOT be later than 8:00PM. It is recomended for the last
meal of the day to be at 6:00PM.

7. If you want you can execrise but only if that doesn’t give you stress or pain.
This diet offers exercising like an option.

8. Go to bed before midnight. The earlier = the better.
PROS:

The popularity of this diet with bananas comes with the fact that it’s easy,
not expensive and it does not requires counting of the calories or removing
a specific type of food.

You can do this diet even if you are too busy during a day, because it doesn’t
requires making some “special” dishes.

Beisdes that, bananas are great source of calium and fibers, which improves the
food digestion and lower the feeling of hunger.
CONS:

The “Morning banana” diet is not made by doctors nor by nutritionists. But still
the most critics comes from the fact that this diet doesn’t limits you by
nothing when it comes to lunch and dinner.

Also, like a “minus” on this diet is counted the fact that this diet doesn’t
includes any exercise, it’s there but only as an option.
